Reiki Healing

Holding Space for Healing, Clarity, and Inner Peace
Reiki is a gentle, supportive healing practice that invites your mind and body into a state of deep rest and balance. I offer Usui Reiki Ryoho as a way to create a calm, sacred space where you can reconnect with yourself and tend to what’s been weighing on your heart.
During a session, you are invited to simply rest. There is nothing you need to do, fix, or figure out. Whether you are with me in the room or receiving Reiki from the comfort of your own home during a distance session, you are invited into a space of deep rest and gentle healing. Reiki flows where it is needed most, offering compassionate support as your body, mind, and spirit naturally soften, settle, and move toward greater balance.
Many people experience this time as:
- A quiet pause from the noise and demands of daily life
- A space where emotions can be felt, held, and released without pressure
- A sense of being supported, grounded, and deeply cared for
- Moments of clarity, insight, or inner guidance arising naturally
Reiki doesn’t force anything to happen. Instead, it creates the conditions for healing—helping you access your own inner wisdom, often bringing a sense of peace around things that may have felt heavy or unclear.
Why practice Reiki? To quiet the mind and return to a state of balance.
In Usui Reiki Ryoho, we begin by resting the body and quieting the mind. When the mind is balanced, the body is better supported in its natural healing process.
Through practice, we turn inward, soften attachments, and release the stories that keep us connected to suffering.
A Gentle Invitation
This is a space for you to slow down, be supported, and reconnect with yourself. Whether you are carrying stress, grief, uncertainty, or simply a desire to feel more centered, Reiki offers a compassionate and steady presence either as a standalone intervention, or alongside your therapeutic journey.
You are always in control of the process, and we move at a pace that feels right for you.
What to expect in a Reiki session with me
Whether we meet in person or connect through distance Reiki, my intention is the same: to offer you a steady, compassionate space where your nervous system can soften, your body can exhale, and whatever you’ve been carrying can be held with care instead of effort.
Many people come to Reiki when words feel like too much—or not enough. You don’t need to know what to do, explain yourself perfectly, or “get it right.” You just arrive as you are.
In-person Reiki sessions
When we meet in person, the session begins slowly. We take a moment to land together, checking in with what feels most present for you, whether that’s stress, grief, emotional heaviness, anxiety, or simply a sense of being “off center.”
You’ll lie fully clothed on a comfortable table, supported with blankets and space to simply be. The room is intentionally quiet and grounding, allowing your system to shift out of doing and into receiving.
As the Reiki session begins, I gently place my hands on or just above your body in different areas. There is no pressure or manipulation—only a quiet, attentive presence.
People often describe this part of the session in very personal ways:
- a sense of warmth or ease moving through the body
- deep relaxation, like finally being able to let go
- emotional release that feels surprising but safe
- or a stillness that feels unfamiliar but deeply restorative
Sometimes the experience is subtle. Sometimes it’s more emotional. Often it’s both.
We end with space to slowly come back into the room, and if you’d like, we can reflect together on anything that came up—without needing to analyze or “fix” it. The focus is always on integration, not interpretation.
Distance Reiki sessions
Distance Reiki tends to surprise people—not because it is dramatic, but because of how personal and intimate it can feel even without physical presence.
We’ll usually connect ahead of time or at a set session window, based on what feels most supportive for you. You don’t need to be on camera or actively doing anything. In fact, I often encourage you to create a simple, comfortable space—somewhere you can rest, pause, or even fall asleep if your body needs that.
As I work, I hold you in intention and attuned awareness, allowing the session to unfold in the same way it would in person.
Many people experience:
- a sudden wave of calm or heaviness (like finally settling)
- tingling, warmth, or gentle pulsing sensations
- emotional release or unexpected softness
- vivid dreams or imagery during or after the session
- or a deep, restorative sleep
Afterward, I typically share reflections with you—what I noticed, where the energy felt most active, and anything that may support your integration. This is always offered gently, never as interpretation you have to accept, but as possible insight to sit with.
What I want you to know
In both in-person and distance sessions, nothing is required of you.
You don’t need to be calm.
You don’t need to be spiritually “open.”
You don’t need to understand Reiki for it to meet you where you are.
My role is simply to hold a steady, grounded space where your system can do what it already knows how to do—move toward balance, release what it no longer needs to carry, and reconnect with a quieter sense of self underneath everything else.
